Showing little regard for current philosophy that real world experience is earned through jobs that provide hard pay stubs, I’m instead following the former route our ancestors took. Three years ago I devoted myself to learning the family trade of fine woodworking and am in business with my Old Man building custom cabinetry and fine furniture.
Also having a degree in journalism, I feel compelled to share my unique opportunity. This running portfolio documents my progress as a carpenter as I study different woods, techniques and projects. As with any craftsman, my intention is to inspire your own tangible projects and/or collaborate with you to construct your ideas.
